Punk's not Dead tattos - 3D outcome
The temporary tattoos I have ordered from a little shop on eBay. I have message the seller and attached two files with my drawings. On the next day , the postman delivered the envelope with my very first temporary tattoos and short instruction. As it is shown on the picture, there is a mirror reflection of my design because to stick it to the skin I nedded to peel off the first transparent layer and stick the tattoo straight on the skin. Apparently it is exactly the same process how we stick on our hand colourful tattoos as a children. After I chose the right place on the model's arm, I put the tattoo straight on (was extremely sticky) and I used wet tissue to wet the back layer of the temporary tattoo sticker.
I love the final outcome and I am surprised how good it looks on the skin. I am so glad that I had capabilities to order a fake tattoo and add the final touch to my project. In those moment I always appreciate all technical innovations and I am glad that I did not pass the exam to University back in Poland in 2001 because here were no internet and computers were available only in the libraries, I would not have chance to explore and learn procreate and discover digital art.
Later on we arranged a punk party scene in the living room. We put some alcohol and cigarettes on the table, there is my leather jacket with badges thrown on the sofa, heavy boots tossed carelessly on the flor and the main model with my tattoos on arm an leg, chilling on the sofa. We even played The Sex Pistols on the background. I should change the project name from "Punk's not Dead" to "The Time Machine".
Really like these photos - think VERY carefully about how you present these in your portfolio.
