welcome

My name is Ewa. Welcome to my blog. I graduated from Art School in Poland, shortly after that I moved to England. It was 2006 and my life turned upside down, but I have never stopped drawing and being creative. Finally, now is the time to make my dream come true, get an education and learn from the best. Recently I am DMUIC student, my progression route is Graphic Design and Illustration.

Choosing the prospective career path was easy for me as I have always been interested in art. I could not imagine my life without creativity. In my free time I am always drawing, painting or making something for my friends as an original handmade gift. It has always been the most natural and easies way to express myself. My ambitions are to pursue a career where I can utilize my skills and my passion in design and illustration. But most of all I would love to become a concept artist, illustrator or comic artist.
Some of the artists that inspired me over the years include Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Zdzisilaw Beksinski. I tried painting in many different styles but recently I fallen in love in Digital Art; drawing in Procreate is such as exploring and discovering very interesting and magical world. My biggest inspiration is Bardot Brush who shows me the world of Procreate, Daniel Wlodarski in terms of Comic Art and Paulina Wach in terms of inspiration of Polish folk.
Paulina Wach is freelancer graphic designer, illustrator and concept artist. She created series "Modern Folking" inspired by folklore of Poland. I love the bride colours and realistic drawing however the most interesting is how she "smuggles" tattoos and modernity into her works.

  1. Thank you for introducing yourself on the blog. You did not state your progression route and you have not written about an artist or designer that inspires you. Please make sure you add to this post as per the example shown in class.
