Development exercise

I chose meditative approach to develop my idea. While meditating I saw fantasy world, majestic forest with colourful plants and flowers. I knew that the background supposed to be black, then I started drawing . Bright, orange tree was in the middle and I create the picture by drawing with different types of brushes. I wanted to avoid black outlines this time . My picture picture is surreal and when I am looking on this now, reminds me the movie " Avatar". I am balancing in between two themes: earthly delights and expressionism, an I still can not decide which one to choose.

In my project I will simplify the picture and I will chose some of the plants or colour to create eco posters

Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred Stieglitz Georgia O'Keefe and Alfred Stieglitz met in 1916, he was 52 years old famous photographer and 28 years old Georgia was an unknown artist. Alfred Stieglitz studied engineering in Germany in 1886. Then in 1880 he came back to New York where he was part of Camera Club. Later on Stieglitz formed new Photo Secession group because some policies in previous club were to restrictive. He always supported photography and from 1903 to 1917 he edited the "Camera Work" publication. In his work we can see some element of Cubism when he tried to capture everyday life. "Acid Drinkers" Punk Zine Cover

Punk Zine is a magazine where we could find the information about the gigs or latest album of our favourite band, interviews and all news from the Punk World. Back in 90' in Poland we also had a punk zines and what is interesting we also called them zines. Usually it was more like cheap leaflet, hand written with a hand drawing pictures. There was no computers and printers available to everyone and the internet didn't exist. Information included in zine were basically from the local events and local bands. The main polish cities have their own Zines. I created the Punk zine cover in procreate. I created the title Acid Drinkers because is related to the favourite alcohol drinks by proper Punk, which was a very cheap, horrible tasted wine. Sam introduced me a Sniffin' Glue', the first British punk fanzine, which was very inspirational and I think Acid Drinkers is good enough for a zine title. my first digital art project

 Today we were creating Contact Sheet in Photoshop. Typically, a contact sheet was a positive print of the total negatives from a roll or film or a shot, end often each image the same size as the negative itself. The purpose of contact sheet is to be able to quickly scan a series of images to find the keepers or the ones chosen to be enlarged.  Before I used Photoshop to create contact sheet, I realized that unfortunately, I deleted all photos from my phone. It was quite difficult to ignore my stupidity and think how to restore my photos. Likely,I found them on my Cloud. Our first project in sequential photography was to go outside and find interesting subject and take a photos. My learning partner was Michael and I enjoyed working with him as we have had similar ideas. We decided to stay focus on a person rather then a subject.
