 Today I worked on secondary Eco Secondary School logo, I started with the tree design which I did previously. My idea was to make it more digital and I simplify the outlines first, where I considered future printing aspect. I thought maybe the tree roots are too obvious and I drew them to make the "Eco" word and I realized that letter C and O  creates the infinity symbol. I would be cleaver to leave it in the logo it would symbolise that the school will always follow the eco rules.    I 've changed the infinity symbol little bit as I wanted the letter "O" to be in a circle. That is my link to planet Earth. Unfortunately the letter "C" looks more like "G"  and I don't really like it. I am little bit confused now, should I draw a regular infinity symbol or try to make it more circular?   On the next picture I showed my thinking process from the very first logo trough the "Eco" word transformation in the logo. Eco Academy - open evening leaflet

During the research I saw many information about the schools open evening and that was my inspiration to create the leaflet for the Eco Academy.  I used my pictures which I created before with the school building placed in the Aylestone Meadows. The school logo was placed on the white rectangle shape on the building. Later on I realised that, I used the wrong layer and the logo wasn't visible on the building.    I started with one picture , school address and logo, which later on develop in the totally different way. Finding the right background colour was challenging as nothing was good enough and kept trying and trying. Very helpful was the Oto255.com website were I was able to find every single colour and shades. I opened the website on the left side on my ipad to have easy access, to use colour that I like, I copied the colour number to procreate colour wheel. Skill week - life drawing part two

The second day of drawing.Warm up exercise was quite difficult as it was only 2 min long and I used the fine line pen, I tried to avoid drawing , how does Sam said - the“chicken legs” (many short lines) I looked at the model body, shape, curves and lines and I draw firm, black outlines trying to keep the pen on the paper. We repeated those exercise few times and we tried blind drawing which was even more difficult. However the main point was to warm up the hand, not to draw the perfect picture    This time I had little bit more time. I started by looking at his arms position and where to start drawing, consider the chair and his feet. The left arm and the line of his back I draw first, then I concentrated on his legs and position on the chair. Awareness of time going wasn’t helpful, moreover using the black pen was difficult as its shows every single mistake.
