Eco Academy leaflet #2

fig. 1
During the very first project tutorial in week 3 we talked about inspirations and Sam introduced me that website. After a few weeks I decided to go back to basics and re-design the Eco Academy leaflet as the last one with the photographs and heavy picture in the background was to busy, very chaotic. I feel tired after a few minutes looking at it.
That picture (fig. 1 above) was my inspiration. This time I used light colour. Oto.255 is a very helpful tool which allowed me to play with different colours and shades. Once I knew what colour scheme I will use, I drew the school building in the middle of the page in a dark brown colour. In the next step I tried to arrange the space around the school by drawing circles and the rainbow, everything in similar colour palette. One of the tree shape I repeated from the tree which I draw on the logo, using continuous line only. I didn't drew another identical tree, I simply duplicated the layer and I resized it little bit. Second tree shape and everything else I drew by using the same brush, however I resized it few times.

I started creating new leaflet , consequently using the same colour palate. Adding new layer every time I drew something is very important because I am able to make changes easily and much faster.

I added the same elements as in my first leaflet, however still was something wrong . To busy, and to many information

I removed the picture and the map which looks much better and not that "heavy"

I think that would be my final version. With the full colour logo and school address.

  1. Good to see evidence of how your idea has developed and the ways in which you are adapting your logo/branding to different parts of your package.
