Badges making workshop
This year, Bring The Paint Festival started on Monday 23rd of May through to Sunday 29th May. It was a great opportunity to see graffiti artists during the work, have a conversation with them or took part in the workshops. The Badge Making Workshop seems to be created special for me on the perfect time and in the perfect place. I read on the website that the safety pin badges would be made by using the collage techniques which was the best opportunity to use my own designs.
This is the badges making machine. On the first step I put the silver badges top in the machine, then my own design and at the end I covered my it with the transparent plastic foil. By pushing down the black handle I pressed everything together , then I put the back of the pin into a special slot and I pushed the handle again, this time a little bit stronger. I created my very first safety pin and I felt amazing and surprised how easily I created the badge. If I could choose, I would make them a little bit smaller, despite this they are perfect! The punk badges would look amazing on my leather jacket as the 3D outcome.

That is the short video of me making badges, with the song "Time is tight" on the background. I chose that song for two reasons, firstly because is by The Clash, famous and my favourite punk band, very related to the "Punk's not dead" project. Secondly the title of the song is "Time is tight" which is true because the deadline is next week!

Good post, you have found some interesting (and cost effective!) ways of producing parts of your project this term.
