Customer profile


Doing the research with Fatima was very interesting, surprisingly I found a lot of similarities in our behaviour as a customers. She is much younger than me and I assumed that she will be more spontaneous and not that responsible whilst shopping, as her parents paying for everything and she is not earning her own money. That was a very positive amazement, I realised that her behaviour came from her character as she is an introvert and prefers to reduce contact with people. Fatima also appreciate small things and she is not an impulsive shopper.  However when I asked her opinion about having tattoo, she said that she would not mind. 
That confirms, the target age group for my tattoo studio could be either Boomers, Generation X, Millennials and some people from Gen Z . Depends of the tattoo design and their finances as getting a good tattoo in a good tattoo studio is expensive. The attitude towards tattoos has changed recently, now having tattoo is very popular and common. People tattooing visible parts of their bodies like hands, necks and faces regardless their background or profession, when back in 70's tattoos have been associated with underclass and the criminal world.

  1. Check some of these details - annual income £800? Occupation, COLLAGE student?? Like the graphic, but what did you learn about a potential target market/demographic from doing this exercise, particularly as tattooists work with people from all walks of life and of all ages.
